Hi, Sue:

I do use the dry container to grind my grains (and the Sucanat/Rapadura, too). It does a terrific job making it really fine. I do two cups at a time for about 1 minute and 15 seconds. I haven't tried brown rice, but I can't imagine it would be any different than the wheat varieties I grind. I think the dry container is a good investment. Let me know if you try it!

I have a Vita-mix, but I only have the wet container. I need my brown rice that I grind with a Whisper Mill finer. Do you know if the Vita-mix does a good job making things finer? Do you use the dry container? Thank you.
